Indications for: OXERVATE
Neurotrophic keratitis.
Adults and Children:
<2yrs: not established. ≥2yrs: 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 6 times daily (at 2hr intervals) for 8 weeks.
OXERVATE Warnings/Precautions:
Contact lenses (remove; may reinsert lenses 15mins after administration). Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
OXERVATE Classification:
Recombinant human nerve growth factor.
OXERVATE Interactions:
Allow at least 15mins between application of other topical oph agents. Administer Oxervate 15mins prior to using eye ointment, gel or other viscous eye drops.
Adverse Reactions:
Eye pain, corneal deposits, foreign body sensation, ocular hyperemia, eye inflammation, increased lacrimation.
