According to multiple studies and surveys, 50% to 80% of individuals continue to have lingering symptoms approximately 3 months after the onset of COVID-19. Now, musculoskeletal symptoms are becoming common lasting symptoms among “COVID-19 long haulers.”

Featured Guest Swati Deshmukh, MD, is a musculoskeletal radiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an assistant professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr Deshmukh has trained at top institutions across the country, including Yale University, Stanford School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. Dr Deshmukh is known for her expertise in high-resolution peripheral nerve imaging and published the first papers on imaging of nerve and musculoskeletal complications of COVID-19.
