Potential Diagnostic Biomarkers of Osteoarthritis Progression

OA is characterized by a series of degradations of articular cartilage. Findings are potential biomarkers of osteoarthritic acetabular labrum. The destruction of labrum might highly relate to the damage of cartilage in the pathogenesis of OA. Alteration caused by genes in acetabular labrum cells might be affecting changes in cartilage damage during the process of OA.
